Are you looking for a way your group can serve the community, whether it be a school or youth group?  Groups are most welcomed and encouraged to volunteer with Mission Services of London.

There are many ways for young people to have an impact on the lives of those in need….and many ways those in need can have an impact on the lives of young people.

Young people seem to have a special sensitivity to those in need. We have been very blessed by the many ways that young people of all ages have made a difference. Some make festive placemats to brighten the dinner tables or decorate paper lunch bags for snacks or lunches that are given out at various shelters. Others raise money for special projects like Valentine treats or school supplies. If you wish we can have someone come and speak from our team about some of the challenges of homelessness and poverty.

To ensure the best experience for group members, the maximum group size is generally limited to 10 participants (over the age of 16) with some exceptions. If your group consists of more than 10 people, you can consider dividing into smaller groups to volunteer with different programs. Phone us to ask about occasions when more than 10 volunteers are needed. Note that our group application process is not the same as for individual applicants, so please wait until you connect with us before moving ahead. Thank you!
