The Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) walk, which Mission Services hosted for the eighth time in our city, is a national event where communities from Newfoundland to British Columbia walk to raise awareness and funds for those experiencing homelessness.
Perhaps it’s a more symbolic event name than apt, since the weather for walk day was unseasonably temperate yet again. But, as the sun and the temperature dropped in tandem, it served as a reminder that while walkers have a warm cafeteria at CCH to go back to for some chili and hot chocolate, those who are street involved do not have a place to escape the cold.

London’s CNOY top fundraising team: Freedom 55 Financial Freedom Walkers
With approximately 200 walkers, 26 teams, and 50 volunteers, the walk was a huge success! Generous donors, sponsors, partners, volunteers and walkers helped to raise more than the $70,000 goal! Thank you to our Presenting Sponsor, Lewkowitz Financial, and to the top fundraising team for yet another year – Freedom 55 Financial Freedom Walkers!
Remember to save the date for next year’s CNOY walk:
Saturday, February 22nd, 2020
We hope to see you then!
