The start of the school year is a varying experience for students. Some are excited. Some are terrified. Others are less than thrilled – regular kid stuff. Along with whatever emotions surface come new supplies to get a good start. At least for most. Extra expenses can be a challenge for families in transition. For the families and children engaged in programs at Rotholme Women’s and Family Shelter, we hold a Back to School Campaign. It serves to ease this burden, and set up students for success with the right supplies. Items needed range for students aged four to 18 and include: peanut free snacks, backpacks, lunch bags, water bottles, locks, scientific calculators, notebooks, glue sticks, pencil cases, pencils, erasers, pens, crayons, pencil crayons, markers and highlighters.

 Donations can be dropped off at Rotholme on 42 Stanley Street, or at our head office on 415 Hamilton Road (8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.)
