Corus Cares About Ending Hunger in London

As we pass the half way point of this year’s Scan Away Hunger campaign, we gratefully acknowledge those who have supported this important initiative by donating $3.11 to their grocery bill at check out.   Hunger exists in our city and we are committed to doing everything we can to end it.  Just $3.11 buys one meal, for one person living in shelter.  Each dollar you donate goes towards feeding the hungry, the hurting and the homeless.

The folks at 103.1  Fresh FM, 103.9 More FM and AM 980 have joined us in this challenge.  Each week, an on air personality will visit a participating grocery store with enthusiasm and initiative and help us achieve our goal.

Chris Love, from 103.1 Fresh FM’s popular morning show was on hand at ValuMart on Oxford and Richmond last week to spread awareness and lend a hand.

Come out and say hi to your favourite radio hosts and help feed a hungry neighbour:

AM 980’s Nathan Smith will visit Sunripe Marketplace on Dec. 13 at 10 am

103.1 Fresh  FM’s Ryan Valdron will swing by Angelo’s Italian Bakery on Dec. 19th at 10 am

103.9 More FM’s Nicky Robertson will be on hand at Sobey’s on Dec. 27th at 11 am
