Coldest Night of the Year

You did it, London! Through your dedication and compassion, more than $112,000 have been raised for vital programs and services that help those experiencing homelessness, mental illness, and addiction in the community.

Everyone at Mission Services of London is immensely grateful for the support of more than 290 walkers, donors, sponsors, and partners of this event. You have each made a meaningful difference in the lives of those most vulnerable among us.

Thank you for making hope possible.

While the walk portion of the event concluded on Feb. 20th, the fundraising portal will remain open and active until March 31st. This means that donations can still be made up until that date. After March 31st, we will be able to count the total funds raised and will let you know the results as soon as possible. Stay tuned to our social media!

Save the Date: We walk again next year on Feb. 26th, 2022! We hope you will join us once again to support those in need in the London area.

View the below video for a special thank you message from Peter Rozeluk, Executive Director of Mission Services of London and Robert Lewkowitz of Lewkowitz Financial, the Lead Sponsor of Coldest Night of the Year in London.

This February, thousands of Canadians of all ages, in six time zones, in cities and towns from the Pacific to the Atlantic, will walk in the Coldest Night of the Year WALK—physically distanced and pandemic-measures-in-place, of course!

Here in London, we have gotten creative by planning a virtual walk in which participants raise funds online, and walk with their households within their neighbourhoods any time between Feb. 1 – Feb. 20, 2021!

By walking in the chill of the night, participants will feel a hint of the challenges faced by someone experiencing homelessness during a cold winter, while raising vital funds to provide much-needed support for neighbours in need. Some of these supports include safe shelter from the elements, nourishing meals, mental health programs, shelter diversion for families, live-in addiction treatment, access to clothing and household items, and much more.

Mission Services of London is proud to host this event for the tenth year in a row, with a fundraising goal of $70,000. Will you bundle up to raise cold, hard funds in the Coldest Night of the Year WALK?

Help people in need achieve a different tomorrow!
