Coldest Night of the Year

On Saturday, Feb. 23rd, more than 20,000 Canadians of all ages, in six time zones, in cities and towns from the Pacific to the Atlantic, walked together in the Coldest Night of the Year Walk.

Locally, Mission Services of London hosted the event for the seventh time. With a crowd of over 200 walkers and more than 40 volunteers, the event brought the community together for the benefit of neighbours in need. With a fundraising goal of $70,000 this year, with your fundraising efforts, the goal was surpassed and a total amount of $70,862 was raised! Proceeds were spread across the five Mission Services of London branches to help men, women and children experiencing homelessness in London. Thank you to each one of you for helping those who need it most in our community.

Thank you to all the walkers, donors, sponsors, volunteers and partners who made the event possible.

Save the date for next year’s Walk: Saturday, February 22, 2020. See you there!
