Join Mission Services of London on Nov. 12, 2020 for our Fall Banquet & Silent Auction featuring Inspirational Speaker Guy Felicella.
This year, the event will include a virtual experience and will begin at 5:30 pm with the Virtual Auction and Welcome.
Mission Services of London will be passing along a list of participating restaurants for this year’s event and each guest will be able to order and pay for their own meal directly with the restaurants. This list will come to all registered participants closer to the event date, but in plenty of time to make arrangements.
After Nov.12, Mission Services of London will be issuing a charitable donation tax receipt for the portion of the $75 event ticket price that is eligible for a tax receipt this year.
We thank you for your ongoing support of individuals and families in need through this event. We know many of you look forward to the Annual Fall Banquet & Silent Auction in your social calendar each year — and we love to host you! We are committed to still delivering this event to you, even if we have to make some changes along the way in order to promote good health and well-being for everyone who will join us. We look forward to connecting with you virtually and hope to be able to return to an in-person format in future years!
About the Speaker: Guy Felicella spent 30 years in addiction, dying and being brought back to life six times when the toxic drug supply hit the streets. With his treacherous journey through substance use and his repeated attempts at detox and treatment, Felicella has become a respected and trusted expert advising on recovery, harm reduction, and eliminating stigma.
Felicella shares his story publicly to provide hope and encouragement. He is a compassionate man who strives to be a loud voice for people who are marginalized, and advocates strongly for the different paths people may take to find recovery.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: How do I order my meal?
A: A list of participating restaurants will be emailed to each registrant closer to the event date, but in plenty of time to make arrangements. Each registrant will be able to order their own food directly from the restaurants on the list. Given that food will be covered and arranged for by each guest instead of via Mission Services of London this year, a portion of the $75 ticket price will become eligible for a charitable tax receipt. After Nov.12, we will be issuing guests with a charitable donation tax receipt for the portion of the $75 event ticket price that is eligible this year.
Q: How will bidding for the virtual silent auction work?
A: The silent auction will be hosted on an online platform this year. Guests will be able to bid on items with their mobile phone, tablet, or computer.
Q: How and when will I be paying for my items?
A: Shortly after the silent auction comes to an end, winning bidders will be contacted via email. The email will include an invoice that can be paid with a credit card (instructions will be on the email/invoice). If you wish to pay with a cheque, you can do so in person when you pick up your item at the Administration Office (4-797 York St.) after you receive your invoice and book your item pick-up appointment (see below).
Q: How and when will I be able to pick up the items I won and paid for from the auction?
A: Shortly after the silent auction comes to an end, we will contact each winning bidder to schedule a pick-up date/time at the Administration Office (4-797 York St.). Proof of credit card payment may be required when you pick up your items. If you are paying by cheque, we ask that you bring your cheque to this appointment to pay for your item upon pick-up.
Q: Can I make a donation to help men struggling with Addiction at Quintin Warner House even if I cannot attend the virtual event this year?
A: Absolutely! Please visit the Eventbrite page at mslfallbanquet.eventbrite.com and click on the green “Tickets” button. The pop-up window will present you with two options — to purchase tickets OR make a donation. Under the Donations heading, you will have the opportunity to type in your donation amount and then press the orange “Checkout” button to proceed with payment.
