Gift-in-Kind Challenge is Racing Forward

Mission Services of London started the Gift-in-Kind Challenge in the Spring and since then the project is racing forward towards its goal.

We are excited to have four “Hero” partners to date.

First out of the gate was a donation from Pepsi. Various skids of Pepsi product will be dropped off at the Men’s Mission as it becomes available.  This product has been shared by our branches and we look forward to this relationship as it moves along.

Second in line was a generous donation from Chapman’s Ice Cream who delivered a skid of Pumpkin Praline Ice Cream. Throughout the year, we will be receiving more delicious flavours and we thank them for their kindness.

Our friends at 3M Canada came aboard with a healthy supply of cleaning, safety and office products, as well as, Bandages and health hygiene items. Thank you for your corporate caring!

The University of Western Ontario has also provided us with ‘Pandemic’ supplies that they had left over from last year. These are specialty items we need and are always too expensive to purchase. Thank you!

Our latest gift is from Kelloggs, our first “Champion” in the program. We will be receiving a monthly supply of cereal to help our branches get a healthy start to their mornings. Breakfast foods like these are always a diamond in the rough. Thank you Kelloggs….Theeeyyyrrrr Grrreatt!!
