Finding himself in London during a transient period of his life, Mike came to Men’s Mission looking for somewhere to stay and a nutritious meal. “I was treated like a person instead of just a number,” Mike says. “Because of that I started volunteering in the kitchen.” With the support of shelter staff, Mike found stable housing and employment. “I can work on creating a good life for myself.”
