This Christmas season, Drewlo Holdings has given a gift of $110,000 to maintain 24/7 addiction treatment and after-hours support for men seeking sobriety at Quintin Warner House (QWH). This donation will provide one year’s worth of these vital services that characterize the gold standard of care for live-in addiction treatment programs like Quintin Warner House.
“We are so very grateful to be able to offer support for our participants around-the-clock. The consistent presence of an Addictions Counsellor provides stability and steadfast therapeutic care which is critically important for men struggling with addiction. Thank you to Drewlo Holdings for this donation and their continued support,” said Martha Connoy, Director of QWH.
Drewlo Holdings is passionate about the depth and breadth of the addiction treatment program offered at QWH. “We like that it’s a long-term program, so not only are the men learning to live with sobriety, but they’re also learning life skills. It’s a holistic approach and that’s what Drewlo Holdings really believes in,” said Jerry Drennan, Chief Operating Officer of Drewlo Holdings.
Drennan’s hope for the graduates of QWH is a successful transition into the community where they may become champions of addiction recovery. “My hope is that once they have finished the program… they would move that forward and maybe even inspire someone else to take this path,” he shared.
Drewlo Holdings challenged the London community to match their donation to help men have access to the vital services offered at Quintin Warner House. Together with Drewlo Holdings, community donations will help provide meals, safe shelter, and comprehensive services to men battling addiction, and those who are maintaining sobriety through aftercare support.
“As a local business, we are committed to making a meaningful and long-lasting difference in our London community,” said Allan Drewlo, President of Drewlo Holdings, back in October when Drewlo Holdings first issued the challenge. “This Christmas season, we are challenging London community members to match our donation to Quintin Warner House, dollar for dollar. Together, we can help men break free from addiction so they may live a different life, impacting not only their own wellbeing but also that of their loved ones and future generations”.
At present, we are thrilled to announce that the London and area community has raised over $120,000 in response to this matching challenge! Together with the donation from Drewlo Holdings, this means more than $230,000 will have a remarkable impact on the lives of men seeking sobriety at QWH! These funds will provide vital 24/7 addiction treatment and aftercare programming. All of us at Mission Services of London are tremendously grateful for the generosity and compassion expressed by Drewlo Holdings and our community as a whole. Thank you ever so much!
