Prayer Requests

Thank you for your willingness to pray for Mission Services of London and for our neighbours: the men, women and children in need in our community.

Please pray:

  • That neighbours we serve can experience the love of Christ as we tend to their needs
  • For the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical well being of the people who form part of the Mission Services of London family: the neighbours we serve, staff, volunteers, donors, supporters and partners in care
  • That struggling families receiving services from Rotholme Family Shelter will find adequate and stable housing where they can thrive and raise healthy children
  • That Quintin Warner House (addiction treatment) participants would be strengthened to resist the temptations to relapse and/or leave the program before completion, and that they will continue to prosper after graduation
  • That men experiencing homelessness would feel encouraged by Men’s Mission, and find the help they need to journey toward a different future
  • That neighbours coping with a mental illness that is contributing to their homelessness, would be drawn to the help offered by Community Mental Health Programs and receive the compassionate support they need
  • That our Mission Store (thrift store) would continue to encourage our community, providing affordable access to household and clothing items, as well as showing the love of Christ to individuals and families by filling their needs through the free Emergency Voucher Program
  • That every financial and volunteering need would be met, and that Londoners as a caring community, would respond to the opportunity to meet the needs of local men, women and children living in poverty
  • That our federal, provincial and municipal officials and staff, would be blessed with wisdom from Above on the many issues before them, including homelessness prevention, poverty alleviation, mental health care and addiction treatment
  • That neighbours we serve will discover and deepen their own faith journey, and be brought into the kingdom of God as His children
