On February 5th, Lawson Health Research Institute, Western University, the City of London and Mission Services of London announced the results of the shelter diversion pilot program run through Rotholme Women’s & Family Shelter. The program works with families who are on the brink of losing their home and becoming homeless. The study found that the Shelter Diversion Program at Rotholme effectively prevents homelessness in families, with 90% of families remaining housed even after 18 months of accessing shelter diversion services.
