Mission Services of London is pleased to announce that Tara Saunders has accepted the permanent position of Director of Development & Communications effective Monday, March 13, 2023.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Tara will be responsible for the development and implementation of Mission Services of London’s fundraising and communications/PR strategy which secures revenue and increases awareness for the organization. She will oversee all aspects of Development & Communications Team programs such as annual and commemorative giving, special events, middle and monthly giving, major gifts, grants, legacy giving, advocacy, marketing, website and database oversight, and gift processing.

Tara was working recently at Cedarview Community Church where she was the Ministries Facilitator.  Prior to joining Cedareview, she was the Centre Director at Teen Challenge Ontario Women’s Centre. Tara also held the positions of Vice-President, Marketing at Paystation Inc. and Director of Marketing at TECSYS Inc. / PointForce Inc.

Tara holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario. She also obtained a Certificate of Professional Studies in Addiction Counselling and a Post Graduate Certificate of Public Relations from Humber College.
