Support

Thanks to our 100+ store volunteers yearly and generous donations received continually, we are able to run two unique programs that provide assistance to our community:

  1. We provide families and individuals in need with free clothing/household articles by way of an Emergency Voucher Program, used by 60+ referring community partners.
Client vouchers filled from Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (please check-in before 12:00 pm)
  2. We have run the Warm Hands – Warm Hearts Outreach Program since 1995. We partner with local elementary schools from November to February to provide needed winter clothing items without any cost to recipients. Deliveries are made monthly by way of our Mission Services van.

Thank you for nominating the Mission Store for the 2020 London Chamber of Commerce Business Achievement Award in the Corporate Social Responsibility category. We were honoured to be a finalist and very grateful to be part of the London and area social enterprise community!

Volunteer Opportunities

Woman sorting donations at the Mission StoreWe have various volunteer opportunities (about a dozen!) on an ongoing basis to suit students, those retired, those looking for transferrable skills and those wanting to help impact lives in the community. Please call our Volunteer Relations Coordinator at 519-433-2807 ext. 2105 to learn more. We provide the training, you provide the smile.
