Rotholme Family Shelter
Rotholme Family Shelter is one of Mission Services of London’s emergency shelters.
About Rotholme Family Shelter:
Rotholme Family Shelter can accommodate up to 20 families at a time who are experiencing homelessness (two parent and single parent families, both male and female led).
Each person is offered three nutritious meals per day, and other necessities, such as clothing and hygiene items.
- School-aged children and working parents are provided with bagged lunches to take with them during the day
- Parents with infant children are provided with baby formula and diapers
Prevention of Homelessness Among Families (PHAF):
Rotholme Family Shelter has the Prevention of Homelessness Among Families (PHAF) program where the focus is connecting with families to keep them housed or find them housing so they can avoid coming into shelter. And, if they need to come into emergency shelter, workers help to get families out of shelter and into their own housing as quickly as possible, while helping them maintain long-term housing through housing stability.
Shelter Diversion:
Shelter Diversion is just one of the many ways we strive to make a positive impact in our community and support families who are at risk of, or are experiencing homelessness. We work collaboratively with local agencies, service providers, and community members to create lasting solutions and offer hope to those in need.
